puppy manners

For: Puppies 8-20 weeks old
Requirement: first set of vaccination/deworming dose 7 days prior to start of the classes.
Puppy training is fun when your puppy is safe and secure while training. You and your puppy will learn all basic cues, recall practice, impulse control, and many training games in a large, sanitized clean classroom.
Training session includes puppy socialization, safe puppy play, and body awareness. We help all puppies can make friends and have lots of fun!!
Early puppy training is very important to start building the bond between you and your puppy.
We use Susan Garrett’s recall program ItsYerChoice (IYC) for some of the modules, which helps your puppy to "think" what behaviour is desirable. Create a value for you and your puppy will come to you regardless of the environment!
You will build a loving and trusting relationship with your sweet puppy!

teen manners

For: Dogs over 20 weeks old with NO REACTIVE, NO FEAR/NERVOUS issues at all toward people/dogs
Requirement: Updated vaccination/2nd set of shots
Teenage puppies can be very challenging we coach you how to handle unruly and over-excited behavior.
We teach Impulse control longer duration, distance, and distraction.
Sit, Down, Stand, Rollover, Spin, Hand target, go to bed, it’s your choice these are just few of fun tricks but the most crucial part of the training is to understand your dog and how to communicate with them. We coach you how to handle, and communicate with your dogs especially when the dog is a teenager with a strong will:). No more frustration on-leash walking, recall practice on cue.
We will introduce you to the scientifically proven "dog making good choice" method so that their behavior will be your desirable behavior!
Your relationship with your dog will be truly enjoyable and loving.

advanced manners

For: Dogs over 10 months old
Requirements: Updated vaccination. Completion of Bow Wow Academy Puppy Manners, Teen Manners or private sessions. Dog must be comfortable on and off leash around other dogs. Without completing Teen Manners we require to book one hour private assessment session
Learn how to trust each other off leash. If you would like to expand the possibilities with your dog, this course will help you to increase your dog’s recall level and impulse control in challenging environments.
You will learn long distance recall and how to stay calm in busy environments as well as Yoko’s special skilled Impulse Control training games, which will help your dog to be calmer and more in control.
Maximum 6 dogs per class.

agility basics

For: Dogs over 9 months old
Requirements: Updated vaccination. Completion of one of Bow Wow Academy Teen/Advanced Manners or private sessions. Dog must be comfortable off and on leash around other dogs without any reactive issues.
Come join our super fun class which helps you and your dog to learn more about body language and improve communication with each other! Jumps, weaves, tunnels, and some more unique obstacles will lead you and your dog to efficiently grasp timing and movement.
Our class is focused on simply having fun, not for competition. Let's have fun together!!!

recall excellence

For: Dogs over 6 months old
Requirement: Updated vaccination. Completion of Bow Wow Academy Teen/Advanced Manners courses
You are not the only one who is frustrated if your dog won't come right away in the middle of play or when chasing a squirrel.
In our Recall Excellence class you and your dog will learn strategic plans of recall games and tools from scratch and find out why and how your dog thinks and responds to your recall cues.
It's about your dog choosing you over the squirrel or other dogs. Your dog will want to come back to you and be closer to you!
Maximum 3 dogs per class.

3 one-hour classes $259 + GST
puppy social club (on hold)

For: Puppies up to 18 weeks
Requirement: First set of vaccination
Half an hour of fun and safe puppy socialization in a clean and safe indoor facility.
We will show you what is safe puppy play, body language, how to communicate with other puppies, and address questions about potty and crate training.
Early stage of puppy socialization is essential to build your puppy’s confidence level and help them to be easy-going and optimistic.
